The Brasscals from Santa Barbara bring an explosion of acoustic joy to the hall as our feature band. This lively, multigenerational fifteen-plus piece powerhouse packs woodwinds, brass, a banjo, a washboard, and a bullhorn to smash the barrier between performer and audience, promising an energetic mix of funk, jazz, Balkan, Latin, and pop with plenty of crowd participation. Opening the show is Full Swing, a stellar quartet of seasoned professionals from Los Osos on a mission to deliver premium listening and dancing pleasure. Their massive repertoire features swung standards, Great American Songbook classics, blues, funk, and vibrant Latin rhythms like mambo, tango, and samba.
